Comcast outrage in Boston, DC Areas.

What is Comcast?

Comcast is one of the largest and most trusted cable providers in the country, offering customers top of the line products for all of their digital communications and entertainment needs. Comcast Communications also provides superior customer service and technical assistance, with support readily available - day or night.

Outrage reason?

Comcast said early Monday morning that there was an Internet service outrage for some of their customer. Mr. Charlie Douglas spokesperson of Comcast alleged “Late this evening our engineers identified a server issue that was affecting only Internet service in Greater Boston and DC areas.”

Abruptly after Monday midnight the problem is solved. Comcast engineers told the affected customer that the service is working properly again.

Mr. Douglas added that it was "unclear" how many Comcast customers were affected by the internet outrage. Comcast engineers were now trying to determine the cause of outrage and internet disruption.

Twitter lit up with tweets from irked Comcast customers. Many of them offered advice on how to change computer internet settings to circumvent the outage.
