Mark Zuckerberg as TIME Person of the Year



Mark Zuckerberg made an announcement last Wednesday morning in Facebook.
"Being named as TIME Person of the Year is a real honor and recognition of how our little team is building something that hundreds of millions of people want to use to make the world more open and connected, I'm happy to be a part of that."

Zuckerberg is the chief executive of the largest social networking site is hereby declared as Time Magazine’s Person of the Year. He is the second youngest to be named at the age of 26. The youngest is Aviator Charles Lindergh who got this title when he was 25 years old last 1927.

Controversial Julian Assange (Wikileaks founder), Hamid Karzai are announce as runner up. The reason why he was chosen because “Facebook - for connecting more than half a billion people and mapping the social relations among them; for creating a new system of exchanging information; and for changing how we all live our lives,”  Time Magazine said.
