LulzSec members during the 50 days of mayhem


Lulz Security, commonly abbreviated as LulzSec, is a computer hacker group that claims responsibility for several high profile attacks, including the compromise of user accounts from Sony Pictures in 2011. The group also claimed responsibility for taking the CIA website offline. The group has been described as a "cyber terrorism group" by the Arizona Department of Public Safety after their systems were compromised and information leaked. Other security professionals have applauded LulzSec for drawing attention to insecure systems and the dangers of password reuse. It has gained attention due to its high profile targets and the sarcastic messages it has posted in the aftermath of its attacks.

The following are suspected members of the LulzSec group

  1. Sabu - consider as the captain of the ship. Organize and plan strategies
  2. Topiary - Public Relation, updating Twitter and interviews with media.
  3. Kayla - Focused on RFI / LFI / SQLi and coordinating with the other.
  4. Tflow - maintaining the LulzSec website and other web resources.
  5. Storm - DDOS and also involved in PBS hack.
  6. Pwnsauce - Coding required tools for the team and involved in Infragard hack.
  7. Neuron - Coding and also involved in Sownage.
  8. M_nerva - Deus Ex Game hack.
  9. TrollPoll - Involved in Fox hack and seems to be the most paranoid of all.
  10. JoePie - Updating the team with news related to LulzSec and other channels of interest.
  11. Avunit - Seems focused on XSS and SQLi Kl0ps, io,
  12. Palladium and Devrandom - Hackers supporting the team Bitcoin Donations handled by Tflow, Topiary and Joepie Team Strength - 13 or 15. It could be possible that some handles are used by same person.
