Overview of LG 500
Last June 2011, I bought an LG p500 Smart Phone or also know as LG Optimus One. The phone is amazing because, it is powered by Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo), upgradable to v2.3 Operating System and a 600 MHz ARM 11 processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset Processor etc and review it is quite good as well. But in even though it impressive, it is still far compare to the Iphone series, Nexus and HTC Smart Phones. LG p500 belong to mid-category of smart phone basing on its performance and price range.
LG PC Suite Crash
Like other smart phones LG p500 has the ability to synchronize your phone and pc via LG PC Suite Software. This software is developed by LG Electronics in order to update your phone software and synchronize your files.
But it was dismaying moments when I’m trying to synchronize my contacts then suddenly the LG PC suite crash. How lame was that! So I got to surf around the net to find any solutions.
Here’s what I’ve got:
The LG PC suite software in the LG p500 is not currently updated meaning there were compatibility issue occur when you’re trying to sync your contacts. In that manner, to solve the problem, just simply update your LG PC Suite Software.
To update the LG PC Suite
1. Run your LG PC suite software.
2. The go to TOOLS > PC Suite Update
3. After updating, connect your phone and you can sync your contacts and files with out any problem.

thanx a lot..
doing this i can sync my contacts now but after a while it gets disconnected and when i click on CONNECT PHONE option it keeps on showing a window with "connecting" and the only solution is to plugin the USB cable again....
it asks for connecting the phone first and then it will upgrade itself...but on connecting it , the application forcefully closes.
Change the display time out in settings to 30mintues.

Another thing that worked for me is to removed the battery and the sd card of the phone then put it back again. After that, simply connect the phone again.
after updating and launching the pc suite again says, "mobilesync3mgr.dll is missing" re/install the program...
Hi R pinto, is there anything happen when you're trying to upgrade? Try to reinstall and upgrade it again please.

I honestly tried that and it didn't work this has been very frustrating and it has taken months!
